He is a multifaceted personality, with over 36 years of Corporate and Industry experience and exposure. A Chartered Accountant from the Institute Of Chartered Accountants Of India, has a Management Degree from the All India Management Association ( AIMA ) , has Studied Law and also Effective Training methods.

He is a an Associate member of the Institute Of Chartered Accountants Of India , he is also a Member with the Indian Society For Training & Development. He Trained with IIM Ahmedabad on Financial & Strategic Management Skills (1981). Trained with Dr. Indira Parekh, Dean, IIM (A) on Coaching & Mentoring Skills (2006). Trained with Dr. Stephen Covey on 7 Habits Of Highly Effective People (1996).

He had a long and exciting career with Industry which spans over thirty six years of which over thirty two years were spent with ITC Limited in various senior capacities and roles and for four years with two other organizations before joining ITC.

He worked with two major divisions of ITC in senior roles before moving to the Head office for a Senior Corporate experience in Kolkata, where he was responsible for managing and administering the Finance HR function, which comprised of Selection, Recruitment and Training and mentoring of young Chartered Accountants joining ITC. He was responsible for planning, designing, conducting and co-ordinating various training programs for the Finance & other functions in ITC limited. He continues to mentor and train many young minds.

He is an Effective Communicator with strong Organisational & Administrative skills, motivated, energetic & focused and goal oriented ,Capable of thinking ` Out Of The Box’.
